La “Société des Montres Paul Picot SA” ha la sede a Le Noirmont – Cantone Jura – in Svizzera, sin dalla sua fondazione.

1976

Nello stesso anno è stato prodotto il modello Chrono Vintage. Movimento Venus, carica manuale, datario completo, fase di luna e cassa in oro. Questo orologio ha subito avuto i suoi seguaci.

1978

Paul Picot ha lanciato il nuovo modello U-BOOT, il primo cronografo con il cursore sulla lunetta.

1987

L’anno in cui l’iconico modello è stato prodotto. Il primo leggendario Le Plongeur (A-Type) fissa le basi per le prossime collezioni.

1989

Prima presentazione mondiale del nuovo Le Plongeur B-Type con la lunetta in zaffiro.

1989

Nello stesso anno Paul Picot diventa lo sponsor ufficiale del Campionato Mondiale di Off-Shore fino al 1993.

1991

Cronografo innovativo per i pulsanti avvitati.

La campagna pubblicitaria è stata realizzata dal fotografo Helmuth Newton. Il New York lo descrive come ” prolifico fotografo di moda, le cui fotografie in bianco e nero sono intrise di erotismo”.

Il primo e unico cronografo automatico con sfera dei secondi al centro, indicatore di riserva di carica a essere certificato C.O.S.C. Questo modello ha visto un premio in Germania e USA.

1994

Disegno innovativo con un inconfondibile “encoche” a ore 9. Nel 1998, in Germania, fu seleyionato modello dell’anno.

1995

Il Principe Alberto di Monaco ricevette questo modello durante Charity in Monaco.

Paul Picot premiò con un cronografo in edizione limitata il pilota posizionato in Pole Position al Gran Premio di Monza

I modelli Atelier rappresentano una parte straordinaria del successo della collezione.

2012

Dopo una lunga ricerca, Paul Picot ha realizzato un rotore più pesante di quello normalmente in uso. Il rotore è in una lega di tungsteno con una plachetta in oro che, grazie al peso maggiorato, migliorano la capacità di ricarica del movimento. Riduce del 20% il tempo di ricarica del movimento.

2013

Paul Picot lancia una nuova collezione di smalti. I quadranti sono miniature dipinte a mano e cotte più volte in forno a temperature tra 800 e 900°C.
Questa tecnica, che risale al 17* secolo, permette di realizzare colori inalterabili nel tempo.

2013

Nel 1927, il pilota automobilistico Giuseppe Morandi, insieme a Giuseppe Minoia, divenne il vincitore della prima edizione della corsa Millemiglia. Paul Picot celebra il leggendario pilota creando una squadra e, ogno anno, si celebra un evento dedicato alle auto classiche prodotte prima del 1940. Per questo mondo affascinante, Paul Picot produce, in serie limitata, modelli Gentleman Crono, Morandi-Minoia.

2014

Un nuovo capolavoro. Edizione limitata di 88 pezzi in oro e 300 pezzi in acciaio.

2014

Paul Picot lancia una nuova collezione Savoia-Marchetti dedicata alla transvolata. Uno squadrone di 25 velivoli che attraversano l’oceano Atlantico da Orbetello (Italia) a Chicago (USA).

2016

Paul Picot presenta una nuova collezione di orologi da donna, con movimenti automatici, assolutamente inusuale per i tempi e considerato il fatto che la maggior parte degli orologi da donna erano assembrati con movimenti al quarzo. I quadranti sono realizzati in argento o in madreperla. I quadranti “Cherry Blossom” sono dipinti a mano, pezzo per pezzo.

2016

Il modello “The Eye of Tiger” è prodotto in serie limitata di 40 esemplari in oro rosa e 400 in acciaio. La caratteristica principale di questo modello è rappresentata dal quadrante realizzato in pietra preziosa naturale. In omaggio agli anni ’70, la pietra utilizzata è l’occhio di tigre con una varietà di sfumature gialle, ocra e marroni.

2017

Nel 1987 il team offshore Paul Picot vinse la più importante competizione a livello mondiale. Per meglio consolidare il legame tra il marchio Paul Picot e l’affascinante mondo della nautica, PAul Picot crea il modello sportivo: Le Plongeur. Il disegno innovativo fu subito aaprezzato dal pubblico finale. Da oltre trent’anni il modello C-Type (versione attualizzata di Le Plongeur) identifica lo spirito sportivo di Paul Picot. Per celebrare questo anniversario, il marchio di Le Noirmont presenta una nuova versione in acciao nero e oro rosa 18K.

Il modello Yachtman Club è un’altra pietra migliare. Il mare gioca un ruolo fondamentale per Paul Picot.

2020

Il modello Paul Mariner diventa ancora più importante con una cassa in bronzo e una nuova versione di quandranti.

2022

Paul Picot continua a migliorare una delle migliori collezioni del marchio.
